“ It’s a charming old dive bar that has probably kept the same decor for the past decade or more. Full bar and the staff all seemed to be having a good time and friendly with each other. We were amazed at the portions for the Scooby Platter. It puts some other restaurants in Grand Rapids to shame. It’s not fine dining, meaning you get a lot of food for a reasonable price. If you haven’t tried it, it’s worth the visit. ”
“ Excellent local restaurant with a full bar. Most of the menu is homemade. Charlie is likely to greet you personally. Almost 24 years in business with a wide selection on the menu. Mexican, Italian, Steak, Shrimp, Fish and Chips, Sandwiches, Burgers, a wide selection of grilled cheese with homemade tomato soup. Generous pours on the mixed drinks. My very picky son about hamburgers said it is "The best hamburger he has ever had and he regrets not coming sooner". ”
